May 2: roster freeze - last day to add or drop players from roster. The manager must notify the registrar.
May 21: managers' meeting, 301-227, noon.
June 4: deadline for teams to sign up for summer. $265 check to "JPL softball" + roster.
June 16: spring season ends
June 17: home run derby
June 23: summer season starts

B League is competitive
Games on Mondays and Tuesdays. Start times are 5:30, 6:50, and 8:10.
Location: Loma Alta Park
Paid umpires
One 10-week season, though this is being debated.
Address any questions, comments, or complaints about the fields or umpires to the commissioner. If there is some such problem, contact him/her the day after the occurrence to ensure prompt corrective action.
Starting in 2003, the batter starts with a count of 1 ball and 1 strike.

B League has its own special Rules.

J: JPL or Caltech employees, contractors, students, and retirees
F: family members of J's: spouses, children, parents, and siblings
N: anyone else, at most 20% of the roster or 4 players, whichever is less
